Terms of use
The rules for using FreePhoneTracker — most importantly, that it’s for parents monitoring their own minor children, and for devices you own or have consent to monitor.
This is a template terms-of-use document for the FreePhoneTracker site. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional and adapt it to your jurisdiction before publishing.
Acceptable use
FreePhoneTracker is provided for lawful parental monitoring of your own minor children, and for monitoring devices that you own or on which you have obtained the informed consent of the user. By using the app and panel, you agree that you have the legal right to monitor the device in question.
You must not use FreePhoneTracker to monitor another adult without their knowledge and consent, to stalk or harass any person, or for any purpose prohibited by the laws that apply to you. The app is transparent on the monitored device by design; attempting to defeat that transparency to surveil someone covertly is a misuse of the product.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure your monitoring complies with the laws of your country, state or region — including any rules on recording calls or audio.
- Set up monitoring on your own minor child’s device, or a device you own or manage with consent.
- Keep your account credentials secure and don’t share access with anyone who shouldn’t have it.
- Use the sensitive features (call recording, typed-text alerts) responsibly and lawfully, and never on another adult without their knowledge and consent.
The service
We provide the app and panel on an ongoing basis and work to keep them reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, improve or be adjusted over time. The free core and the task-based and optional paid unlocks are described on the pricing page.
Accounts and data
You’re responsible for the data collected under your account and for handling it appropriately. Our handling of data is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your data and close your account at any time.
Disclaimers
FreePhoneTracker is a tool to help parents; it is not a substitute for supervision, conversation or professional advice. No monitoring product can guarantee a child’s safety or catch every risk. We provide the service “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreePhoneTracker is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product or the law changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
